GUIDED KNOWLEDGE WINS PINNACLE AWARD AT 2019 PGA SHOW
Guided Knowledge debuted its technology earlier this year at the 66th PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida. The annual trade show is the international crossroads for more than 40,000 PGA Professionals and golf industry influencers plus nearly a thousand of golf’s leading brands exhibiting their newest wares… and us, the next generation of wearables taking 3D technology from the lab to golf range.
After nearly two years of intensive R&D, product development and testing, we were ready to unveil the GK Motion System and to provide the golf industry a “first look.” We were aptly positioned in the Inventor’s Spotlight Forum hosted by the United Inventor’s Association (UIA).
We were thrilled to be awarded with the UIA’s Pinnacle Award for “Best in Show.”
“The ability to provide instant feedback on your performance through next generation high tech analytics made Guided Knowledge our Pinnacle Award winner,” said Warren Tuttle, UIA President.
The Pinnacle Award acknowledges that successful development of a product takes talent, knowledge and tenacity. It was designed to recognize the broadest range of efforts by the inventors, including design, market research, sales, fulfillment, manufacturing and quality.
“We have been working hard to create entirely new 3D technology that is mobile, accessible and offers elite golfers and their coaches an unprecedented 360-degree view of their swing signature,” said Kevin West, Guided Knowledge CEO. “We are grateful to the United Inventor’s Association for recognizing the technology, the team and the potential for our first product.”
The Pinnacle Award win set the scene for the rest of the PGA Show. We were delighted to be part of Golf.com’s story “Golf’s Three Best New Inventions at the PGA Show” and Golf Digest’s “Cool Stuff at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show.”
In addition, Team GK hosted a series of private demonstrations for some of the world’s top PGA coaches at a nearby golf course. A key benefit of the GK Motion System is the ability to take sophisticated 3D technology from the lab to the golf range. The demonstrations allowed us to showcase the GK Motion System in action and put it through its paces in a practical application environment.
Feedback from coaches inspired us to launch the GK Early Adopter Program, created for forward thinking, tech-savvy professional golfers and their coaches who want to get ahead of the curve. To learn more about the early adopter program, let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
